Queensland Business Development Manager
Johan or “Joey” as some may know him as, is our resident Swede. Born and raised in the Scandinavian design capital – Stockholm. He joined the Artedomus family in 2021, bringing 12 years of experience in the industry with him. Johan loves to help create simple, sustainable, and purposeful spaces and he has a penchant for technical jargon. In his pursuit of professional happiness, he served in the Swedish Royal Armed Forces and enjoyed a career as Art Director in Print Advertising & Interactive Media Design.
He decided to permanently swap the cold and snow for the sunny Queensland beaches in 2004, where you now are most likely to see him out on the clear waters of the southern Gold Coast on the weekends trying to steal waves from the locals. If not at the showroom or visiting some architectural office, you can find him feeding his obsession with ramen, slurping up a bowl between meetings. Johan likes dogs, lots of coffee, neurodiversity, shaping & surfing custom surfboards, and wabi-sabi… and dislikes Narcissists and slow drivers.
